Showroom re-design
Well friends, if you follow me on twitter @sophieazouaou or Facebook (Sophisticate Interiors),
you may know that we are getting ready for the Grand opening of Ochi & Company on March 1st.
The Showroom is located at the San Francisco Design Center
This will be our 2nd showroom re-design project and we are thrilled!
We were hired not only to re-design the space, but to consult in selecting the lines the owner of showroom should carry.
We carefully selected each single piece, including finishes, colors, fabrics, trims and texture.
Coming back from 2 international Design conventions this was fun, as we included new trends as well.
Based upon our designs for the showroom, the look will be “ “Sophisticated French Country”. The showroom has very high ceilings.
We painted each wall in a different color, which will correspond to our imaginary borders for each seating section.
The Cape Cod blue, teal, tidal blue, Vanilla Dreams and crispy white colors we are using will give the space the elegance and freshness we are aiming for.
Note: that the Cape Cod blue and Vanilla Dreams, are colors I created and was very excited to include in this project. Colors are my passion.
I felt inspired to create a fresh, elegant, yet functional showroom where all designers and clients alike can get as many sources as possible.
“A one stop does it all”, so to speak.
Ochi & Company will carry fine iron beds, dining sets, French settees, sofas, ottomans, elegant French Country upholstery, exquisite home accessories.
It will represent exclusively the following lines:
Redford House, Hallman Furniture, Wesley Allen, Attila , Area Rug World
Artisan House, Essentials, Dragonfly, Stylus
I would like to highlight our partners and contractors “extraordinaire” who used their talents and skills to enhance the beauty of the space.
I will start with our partner Fabricut
I cannot say enough positive things about Dan Gonzales the showroom manager, for all his help and contribution to the project.
Cindy Rae of Sew What, for her talent in making beautiful bedding
The highly skilled Goran Zeleiko, owner of Zeleiko Painting who will turn any wall into a masterpiece.
Pascal Mouginot, owner of Pascal Workshop who created beautiful cornices for our curtain panels. Pascal can do anything when it comes to wood.
This Is what Ochi, owner of Ochi and Company has to say: “ Ochi and Company has been a proud part of the design community in northern California for 12 years. Our aim has always been to provide a resource which aids designers in their vision and objectives. As a successful designer and a leader in the Design industry, Sophie knows exactly what her needs are when she enters a showroom. She has transformed our showroom into an elegant, vibrant and welcoming space in which designers and clients can productively select the items they are looking for.
We are simply thrilled with the results, and really cannot wait for you to see it at the grand opening!”
SF Luxury Living , Reside SF / are Co-hosting the grand opening.
Sponsors such as G & R paint, R& B Cellars, La Boulange, Landrin Chocolate are generously giving their products and making it possible.
STAY TUNED FOR MORE DETAILS.
